Young Adult Connections: Evenings
A social group designed for adults with developmental disabilities who work during the day. Meeting on select Friday evenings, participants explore Kansas City while building friendships, social skills, and self-advocacy in a supportive, inclusive setting.
-
This group is ideal for adults (ages 18+) with developmental disabilities who are seeking meaningful social opportunities outside of typical work hours. It’s especially designed for individuals who work or attend day programs during the week.
-
The group meets at various community locations throughout the Kansas City metro area, with a focus on accessible and inclusive venues for group activities.
-
Sessions are held on select Friday evenings throughout the fall. A full schedule will be provided upon enrollment.
