Ways to get involved

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the support and investment from the Kansas City community and beyond. We provide volunteering, fundraising, and other exciting opportunities to support our work throughout the year. We also provide the opportunity to engage with other businesses and organizations interested in disability inclusion through “think tanks” led by our Executive Director, Cassidi Jobe, designed to help leaders take a custom approach to inclusion practices in their business.

Volunteer

Our program participant's success is greatly enhanced by volunteers that are actively engaged in supporting the development of their social, emotional and employment-related skills. Our volunteer roles are great for graduate students in field of studies such as occupational therapy, psychology, applied behavioral analysis or special education.

Capture the Future Gala

Capture The Future Annual Gala is fun experience to see how Summit Future Foundation is leading the way in supporting youth and young adults who have a developmental disability in the community.

Enjoy sponsorship opportunities, live and silent auctions, exciting onstage personalities and an unforgettable program featuring the accomplishments of the amazing individuals the event benefits!

Young Professionals Board

Our young professionals board supports our organizational mission by hosting an annual charity event, and by supporting our other fundraising efforts through hands on support. YPB is great for any person who is interested in our mission and building their own leadership skills.
