Peer to Peer - After School Club

To facilitate engagement with peers while developing new adaptive skills and abilities.

Peer to Peer - After School Club is a youth social group that meets Monday - Friday from 2:30pm to 6pm and provides current middle and high school students the opportunity to engage with peers who have similar interests and ability levels while improving their own social, self-management, and self-advocacy skills.

Participants in this program will enjoy weekly themed activities, crafts and construction, and an introduction to cooking and home management skills.

How is programming developed

Our youth activities coordinator develops weekly themed activities, crafts and construction, and provides an introduction to cooking and home management skills

Monday - Friday from 2:30pm-6:00pm

Enrollment and Tuition

Flexible enrollment allows for participants and their families to choose what days and times throughout the week they want to participate, while also providing families after-school supports and the flexibility to have their child attend on days and times when that support is needed.

$24.84 per hour.

Financial Policy

Summit Future Foundation is a contracted provider through the Department of Mental Health - Division of Developmental Disabilities. Families whose child receives Autism Project funding, waiver funding, or other supports through the Department of Mental Health can elect to direct their child's funds to these programs and services.

 Those who do not have access to state funding may elect to private pay for program participation at an equal rate to what the state reimburses our organization for our programs.

Other Important Information

  • Parents/Caregivers are required to provide transportation to and from our recreational facility. The group may participate in community outings. In that event, the organization will provide transportation to and from related community outings. A signed transportation agreement is required. 

  • Program participants are supported at a 1:4 ratio (adult:child). We are unable to provide 1:1 supports for these groups. If your child requires more individualized supports than 1:4 ratio please contact us to discuss support needs prior to registering.

  • Program participant consent forms are required prior to attendance.

  • Meals are NOT provided. For those coming directly from school to the Summit Social Center, families are required to send an after-school snack.
